The first time I met you my heart sank
I knew right from the start
you'd always have a place in my heart
you never fail to make me smile
you make my job worth while
when I see you it brightens my day
you just can't wait to play!
someday when I have a home
I will have a Hank of my own
but no other dog could compare
or take away the bond we share
you will always be my best friend
forever and ever, until the end
you're the coolest dog around
you pick me up when I'm feeling down
when the day is done and you look at me with those big brown eyes
its hard for me to say goodbye
Hank, you are the best
even when you make a mess
I'll love you forever
our friendship I'll always treasure
